The Mousonturm website re-design coincided with the brand re-development.
Like with the brand re-development Mousonturm’s main objectives for this project were to create more flexibility within the brand to allow for visual growth; improve the visual communication of information; establish more public interest; and take away the communities fear of going to the theater.
Conceptually, the idea was to take the web platform and transform it into the Mousonturm stage. The stage being made up of different elements that shift and adapt in accordance to how they, along with the back- and front-end user, interact with one and other.
The website is based on the following grid. Within the back-end the user can select the size/crop of the image which is determined by selecting the number of columns and rows.
The white information text field accompanying the image is determined by the size of image. The back-end user is also able to determine whether the information text field sits to the left, right, top or bottom of the corresponding image.
Information page of an Individual Performance. Here the front-end user can inform themselves of performances in more detail, plus purchase tickets online.
The website works with a 'shifting grid'. This allows the content to shift and adjust in accordance to the width of the browser.
A quick overview of the months events can also be viewed within the events calendar section.
Much of the program structure at Mousonturm is based on thematic series and festivals. To communicate this the program can also be viewed via the ‘Project/Festival’ section of the website.
An archive of past Mousonturm performances. The Archive can be viewed using the Artist (Künstler) or Performance (Veranstaltungen) filter.
